ich bräuchte ein minimallinux.

ich möcht nur die platte low level formatiern (dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda)

Die Live CDs von knoppix booten bei mir leider ned :/

Das ist kein Low-Level-Format, das ist Löschen.

Low-Level-Format gibt's bei IDE-Platten sowieso nicht wirklich.

Hol dir einfach eine Slackware-Bootfloppy, oder die Ultimate Boot CD, da sind afaik auch einige bootfähige Linux-Varianten drauf.

Knoppix rennt übrigens garantiert auch. Versuch mal am Bootprompt:

[code] knoppix 2 vga=normal pci=noapic noacpi lang=de[code]

bzw

[code] knoppix26 2 vga=normal pci=noapic noacpi lang=de[code]

wennst ein low-level-format machen willst dann nimm dir die bootfloppy von IBM oder maxtor, die können das...

ansonsten gibts noch toms root boot, siehe google.
