huhu

also, ich habe jetzt Arch Linux installiert, soweit funktioniert alles perfekt. Das einzige Problem, welches ich habe, ist, dass die Daumentasten meiner Mx510 nicht funktionieren. Hab versucht es mittels evdev Protokoll zu lösen. Leider wollen mich die Daumentasten nicht. Unter einem älteren Xorg hatte ich das Problem nicht. Irgendwer eine Idee, wie ich die Dinger hinbringen könnte?

Installiere mal via pacman 'imwheel' und konfiguriere es.

Selbst zwar noch nicht probiert, sollte aber funktionieren.

Ich hab noch 6.8.x im Einsatz, aber schau dir mal meine Mauskonfiguration an, "evdev" ist "the way it's meant to be done", koennte ja sein, dass das sogar bei einer major revision konsistent geblieben ist

Du brauchst dazu Event Interface SUpport im Kernel, sollte bei archck und dem Stockkernel aber inkludiert sein, schaetze ich.

Wenn ich in meiner Xorg evdev reingeb, kann ich X net starten mit der Meldung "Unknown Protocol "evdev" ". evdev hab ich aber gestartet. lsmod | grep evdev sagt:

evdev                   8192  0
issue@kiwi:~$

ich hab schon gelesen im archforum, dass Xorg ohne evdev kompiliert worden sei.

das Paket hab ich installiert, schon lange.
Ich hab jetzt eine Lösung für das Problem gefunden, allerdings verwendet sie evdev nicht.
Hier der Teil meiner Xorg.conf
