Zitat
Chaintech has launched their new ZENITH series with more new features and cool stuffs over the current APOGEE series. Chaintech 7NJS is the first board based on the ZENITH series featuring NVIDIA nForce2 SPP + MCP-T chipsets, 333Mhz FSB support, Dual Channel DDR 400/333/266 SDRAM up to 3GB, AGP 8X, CMedia 8738 6 Channel Audio, Promise PDC20376 Serial ATA RAID controller, 6 x USB 2.0 Ports, Onboard LAN, SPDIF, IEEE1394, CBox2 (DigiDoc, IEEE1394, USB2.0, Audio in/out) and many others. With so many features packed into this board, 7NJS does come with a price and the suggested retail price is $188.

The Chaintech ZENITH 7NJS nForce2 board rocks. Not only does it have the best features one can find in a motherboard but it also has the performance and stability one would look for in an enthusiast board. My first experience with an nForce board was not that amazing. The Chaintech nForce2 changed all of that with the release of this ZENITH. This has to be the best feature packed board I have ever seen and tested. I mean what else could you ask for? Supports the latest 166mhz FSB AMD Athlon (333mhz),Dual Channel DDR400, Integrated USB 2.0, Integrated LAN, 6 Channel Hardware Sound and Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound, SPDIF Support, 8x AGP Support, Serial ATA, Integrated IEEE1394 Firewire Controller, Integrated RAID and System Monitoring via DigiDoc. This is the ultimate when it comes to having the best of all worlds. Not mention the inclusion of free rounded cables, front panel, keychain and case badge.

...

Speaking of overclocking, with all the adjustments you can do in the BIOS, this board has a lot of potential for that. With a cpu voltage adjustment of up to 2.15v, you never have to do any soldering mod to be able to push your chip to its limits when supercooling. This is a really good news for the overclockers out there. With just fsb overclocking, we got our XP2400+ to run XP2800+ speeds easily and solidly. At 153mhz fsb, we were running our 2Ghz chip at 2.3 Ghz on air! I know it could do more but I think we have hit our CPUs limit at this level of cooling. The only gripe I have was missing multiplier option which I was assured by Chaintech will be out soon for everyone to download. I will have an update when I receive that BIOS from them. Once I have the multiplier option, the synchronous 200/200mhz cpu/mem mode will be easily achieved. I have seen other reviews of this board with unlocker processors hit that speeds and the performance was just phenominal. Even at just 153/153, you can see the magnitude of what this board can achieve as evidenced by the results we got during our testings.

A few observations that we discovered that with one single DDR, you can achieve better results when running asynchronously for example at 133/200 mode. But as soon as you use DUAL DDR mode, using asynchronous mode is not really an option. You will get lower scores if you run DUAL DDR at async. I have also noticed that using DIMM1 and DIMM3 as against DIMM2 nd DIMM3 will produce better overall performance.
