Like the BioShock demo shown at X06, it is impossible to describe with words what we saw, and most important, what we experienced and felt while watching this demo. Remedy Entertainment definitely knows where they are going with Alan Wake, and their vision has gotten them a publishing agreement with Microsoft- not too shabby.

Alan Wake is a new experience that cannot be described as a game, nor as a movie. Alan Wake represents the future of this medium as it evolves from the 'princess trapped in the castle' era into a modern age in the evolution of video games.
